Hey everybody, Cooper here from etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima FreshTrack on our 2023 Nissan Titan. Now, the FreshTrack is going to be a very good entry level way, if you wanna carry around up to four pairs of skis, to snowboards, or maybe even some fishing rods during the off season. Whenever you're ready to get out your things, we just have these oversized buttons right here on the front, that when you press, (component clanks and clicks) does just release into that up position. So, even if you are wearing those kind of oversized gloves that you usually wear when you're going on skiing or snowboarding, it is really easy to press even from just with (component thuds) the palm of your hand. And with those kept in place up, is really easy just to go ahead and grab your gear, and then you're ready to hit the slopes. more

Hey, everybody, Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Fat FatCat EVO on our 2023 Nissan Titan. Now the FatCat EVO is going to be a perfect way if you want to carry around up to four pairs of skis, or two snowboards, or somewhere in between. And one really nice, unique feature about the Yakima FatCat EVO is the fact that if you have something with those extra tall bindings, there's actually a ski lift riser, which helps accommodate for that, so that way we don't have to worry about damaging our roof at all. Now, when you're ready to take out your skis or snowboard, the first thing you're going to do is press our nice oversized button here, which will just lift our arms up into place. And the fact that they stay up in the place means you don't have to try to hold onto them while you're also trying to grab your gear off. more

Now to get directly into one of the reasons that this is a really great fit for our Titan, as you can see, the furthest back point on our Kuat Grip, which can carry up to four skis or two snowboards is really far back. So the loading and unloading process would be very difficult. But with the Kuat Grip, one of the really great features about it is that once you open those up, you actually have these little buttons and this all slides right out, allowing us really easy access to even the furthest point back on our ski and snowboard carrier. So that way, we're can just go ahead and grab our gear really easily. more

Thankfully, we have these nice oversized buttons here on the front, so even if we were wearing those thick gloves that typically come with skiing or snowboarding, the buttons do press and unlatch fairly easily. Also, a fun fact about our carrier is that's going to be able to carry some fishing rods too, which is a great use for it during the off season from skiing and snowboarding. It's gonna be a way to carry your skis and snowboards on the roof between these locking jaws. It's gonna hold them with these padded jaws and keep things well protected with those rubber pads, but also well-gripped. Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Inno Gravity ski and snowboard carrier on top of our 2022 Nissan Pathfinder. It's gonna be a way to carry your skis and snowboards on the roof with your roof rack and hold it in between these two jaws. Now the buttons aren't the easiest to open up just because they are a bit recessed so keep that in mind when you're looking at this. But what it does is hold your gear in between those in some large rubber pads. That's going to provide padding and grip on the gear to make sure it stays secure. more

Today on our 2018 Nissan Pathfinder, we are going to be test fitting the Kuat Grip Ski and Snowboard Carrier, which is part number GRR6B. Now this is the black carrier, but it's also available in two other colors; we have them in gray, under part number GRR6G, and it's also available in pearl, under part number GRR6P.Now this ski and snowboard carrier is a great accessory for your roof rack. It's going to allow you to haul up to six sets of skis or four snowboards up and down the mountain, without having to shove them in your vehicle and take up much more space. You know at the end of the day when your skis and snowboards are soaked, you're not going to have to put them in the vehicle with you and make a mess.Now one of the coolest features about this ski and snowboard carrier is that it can slide out to make loading and unloading a lot easier. Today on our 2017 Nissan Altima we're going to be test fitting the Thule Snow Pack Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number TH7326. This can carry up to six skis or four snowboards. We already have the front one installed, let's go ahead and show you how the rear one goes on. We'll put it in place here, making sure our straps come underneath our cross bar here, and try to keep them as easy we can. Then we'll bring them around, the straps that is, and put them in place here. Then we'll tighten the one side down. You're going to have this grey turn knob on this side, very easy to install, until it's nice and snug around the bar. more

Today on this 2016 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Fatcat 6 Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier. Part number Y03088. This can carry up to 6 ski or 4 snowboards or a mixture of the two as you can see here. It has two locks on both of the carriers to ensure that your skis will be secure while you're driving. To open them you just simply push down a little bit, push on the button here, you can see it move. Then it will be released, same on the other side as well. more

Today in this 2016 Nissan Frontier we're going to be test fitting the Whisk Bar locking rooftop ski and snowboard carrier for Number WB-300. This can carry up to six skis or four snowboards or a mix of the two, as you can see here. It has locks on both ends of the ski carrier to ensure that your skis will remain secure as you travel down the road. It does just pop open by pushing in the button on the end here. Do that for both. And it has padding on both the top and the bottom to ensure your skis don't get damaged or scratched while you load them up and while they're traveling. Go ahead and take the skis out for now. Now how these attach to your crossbars, there is going to be a latch at the top here. You lift up and you start to loosen it up a little bit. more

Today on this 2016 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the Thule snow pack ski and snowboard carrier for number TH7326. This can carry up to 6 skis or 4 snowboards, or a mixture of the 2 as you can see here. Now it does come with locks on both ends of the carriers to ensure that your load is secure while your driving down the road. It opens by simply just pushing down a little bit, pushing on the grey button here, releasing it. It has these nice pads on both the top and the bottom to ensure that your skis and snowboards don't get scratched or damaged while you're loading them up and keeps them nice and snug while you're driving as well. Let's go ahead and take the skis off. We'll go ahead and close these up for now. Now how these actually attach to your vehicle, or to your roof rack, it has these straps, two on each of the carriers. They go up and under the cross bars and latch into here. If you come around to the other side, you tighten them with these grey knobs. more

This can carry up to five fat skis or four snowboards, or a mixture of the two like you see here. It does lock on both of the carriers here, so you can be sure it's nice and secure while you're driving. It opens nice and easy with these two latches here like so. Go ahead and lift these out. Now while I have these open, I do want to point out it has these nice padded areas so it ensures it's not going to scratch, or crush your skis or snowboards while you have them installed. Now how these install, you're going to have two areas where you're going to have to loosen up or tighten down. more

Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note, we're doing a test fit of the Yakima FatCat 6 Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier. That part number is Y03088. Now we already have the front half of our carrier in place. We're going to show you how we secure our back portion down since it is the same way. We'll start by placing on our carrier, making sure those straps go down around our crossbar, and then we want to make sure that it's lined up with the front. We're going to take our strap, we're going to test it to see if that strap is long enough. It's just under long enough so what we'll do is we'll loosen up that strap by using this red knob here. more

Thule Ski and Snowboard Racks Review - 2016 Nissan Versa Note- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note we're doing a test fit of the Tule Snow Pack Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier. That part number is TH7326. Now we already have our front half in place and secured down we are going to show you our back half because it is the same exact way. What we will start by doing is placing our carrier on and making sure that our feet are all facing the same way and that our carrier is pretty well lined up evenly with the front. Then we'll go in and we will take our strap and we are going to stick it around into the spot where it connects and then on the back hand side here that you can see either back here in the front we have our knob and we're just going to start to tighten that rotating it towards the passenger side here. That's just going to secure that strap around our crossbar and tighten it in place. With that one completely tight we will move around and do the same thing on the opposite side. more

I'm going to start by making sure that my feet are both facing toward the back, and I'm going to slide this over, and line it up with our front carrier. Now, it may be a good idea to get an extra set of hands just to hold that other side, since it doesn't balance very well on its own. more

Thule Ski and Snowboard Racks Review - 2014 Nissan Maxima- Video
Today, on our 2014 Nissan Maxima, we're doing a test fit of the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier. Part #TH7326. Now, we already have our front carrier on. We're just going to show you how we place on the back one. Then, load up some of our gear. We want to make sure that our straps are all facing the same way. Then, we can just slide it down our crossbar til it's just lined up with the one in front. Then, we'll come around to the back, grab our strap, and hold it into place. We've got a grey knob at the front. We just tighten that down. Turning to the right, that's going to tighten that strap around the crossbar and secure your carrier. Now, these carriers carry up to 6 skis, 4 snowboards, or you can do a combination of the two. They also come with a lock here to secure your carriers to your crossbars, for even more protection. We just do the same thing on this side. Just tighten down that strap. Having these carriers, they do fit around most of your different style crossbars, like our square bars we have here, your Aero bars or even your factory roof racking systems. With that all tightened down, we can load up our skis and snowboards. We'll just open up our carrier. I've got a set of skis first. more

There are 2015 Nissan Rogue we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima FatCat ski and snowboard carrier. This is going to be for your six skis and/or four snowboards. It will be part number Y03088. As you can see, we already have one up here installed on our vehicle on top of the Yakima RailGrab roof rack system. We're going to put the other one and show you how it fits, looks, and even put some skis and snowboard in it so you can see and gauge what it does. First step in putting it on, make sure that you have the straps undone. Once you have the straps undone, lay it up on top of the rail and pop the top open. more

Today on our 2012 Nissan Xterra, well be test fitting the Yakima FatCat 6 Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier with a 6 ski or 4 board capacity, part number Y03088. With the Yakima round bar roof rack system on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing half of our carrier on to our front crossbar. Well bring the strap around fitting the back into the front of the carrier. Then we can lift up the buckle and clamp it down. Well open up our jaws to gain access to the thumb tabs on the inside. Here on the passenger side, well flip it up, tighten it down and unflip it back down. more

Whispbar Roof Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2012 Nissan Xterra- Video
Today, on our 2012 Nissan Xterra, we'll be test fitting the Whispbar locking roof top ski and snowboard carrier with a six ski or four board capacity, part number WB-300. With the Yakima Round Bar roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin by placing half of our carrier onto our front cross bar. Here on the passenger side, we'll bring the rubber coated strap around our cross bar, fitting it back into the foot of the carrier. We can enclose down the buckle and push the over sized button on the end of the carrier to open up our jaw. We'll then flip up our thumb tab, tighten it, and push it back down. We can then move to the other side and repeat the same process. We'll grab the other half of our carrier and place it onto our rear bar. Before we secure it, we need to make sure that it's in line with the front half. Once we have it in line, we can bring the strap around our bar fitting it back into the foot of our carrier, close the buckle, open our jaw, and tighten down our thumb tab. We'll then repeat that process for the other side. With our jaws open, we'll grab our snowboard and place it into our carrier, followed by our skis. more

Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter Review - 2013 Nissan Xterra- Video
Today on our 2013 Nissan Xterra, we will be test fitting the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter for Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks, part number TH9033. With our bike carrier already installed onto our vehicle, we will begin by opening the back two cradle straps. Then we will place the Thule Tram on top of our bike carrier. We will secure it by tightening down each cradle strap. We will run the bolts through the clamp on the backside of the mast and secure it by tightening down the wing nuts. To load our snowboard and skis, we will push the oversized grey buttons on the outside of the carrier to open up our jaws. more
